Lighting 101 Now Available in PDF Format
Finally found an umlimited bandwidth site that hosts files for free. (Thanks to Rui M. Leal for the formatting effort.)
If you are a newb, Lighting 101 is the foundation on which the site is built, and is the best place to start. I have left a few typos in there, just for added charm. Lots of charm, actually.
The pix are only screen-res, but the price is right. Full refund if not 100% satisfied.

The PDF is awesome - an even simpler reference for the first-timer.
I'm placing this comment here regarding a possible typo your FAQ (no comments there) - I normally read thru any typos but this one makes a difference: how many viewers - 17,000 or 170,000?

Thanks for the heads-up. 170,000 is correct. Only a small percentage of the ste's readers take advantage of the Flickr group.
The other 90% are missing the best part, IMO..

You really should look into one of the print-on-demand services like Lulu or Blurb. You could offer a "book" or pdf through them and not have to worry with shipping, billing, etc. You could put any price you wanted on the work -- including free for the pdf.
My attempts at downloading the PDF is failing due to timeouts. I suspect that their business model is not compatible with just grabbibg the file.
I suspect that tucows or similar sites might be a better hosting site for the PDF.

Well done guys. And to diminish the server load, I strongly suggest sharing through a torrent instead of everybody downloading the content of a single server.
This way everybody can help to keep the content alive and minimize server costs :)

Is PDF version of 102 on the way?
Strobist why not add a widget that translates your site to other languages? That way yo'll have full control and all the traffic will lead to your site.

Check my site you'll see the little flags.... from the stats I can see that people are reading it on their maiden language. They just click on their flag. My site is word-press but I'm sure blogger has widgets... heck you can also use the google translate plugin.
Perhaps scribd.com would be a great way to host it? People can even read it online without having to install a pdf viewer locally.

Ever thought of adding this to project gutenberg as a free book or even the Amazon site? I just picked up a Kindle and was thinking it'd be cool to have it available on sites like these. Of course one could always transfer it manually but I thought if it were on one of these sites it might reach more people.
